About Us
The 850 Kings is a 501c Non-Profit 7v7 team organization that uses athletics as a tool to mentor young men. The 850 Kings participates in 7 on 7 competitions which comprise of 7 athletes on each side in touch football. The 850 Kings was established in 2017 serving 10–11-year-olds. Six years later, we have grown to serve ages 13–18-year-olds.
Mission Statement:
Through the four pillars of Athletics, Community Service, Success After High School & Financial Literacy, 850 Kings will be able to mold young men by providing them any and every opportunity of exposure and networking to become the best version of themselves.
Athletics
Our core focus is to introduce young minds to the wonders of diverse cities and regions, all while using football as the catalyst for building strong bonds. Through team-building activities and shared experiences, we aim to create powerful bonds, promoting teamwork, leadership, and lasting friendships.
Community Service
Through Community Service, 850 Kings mold young men to become active and upstanding members of their communities through volunteering, activism, and mentorship to current & future members of the organization.
Success After High School
Through Success After High School, 850 Kings provides educational mentoring opportunities, tours of college, university, and technical school campuses, while allowing youth the chance to determine their pathway to success through teaching life skills and networking.
Financial Literacy
Through Financial Literacy, 850 Kings will establish a proactive approach to managing finances through workshops, so that young men will be able to become good stewards of their financial outlooks to lead them to success.
Competition – We believe in the motto; " Iron Sharpens Iron!" We instill this mindset in each athlete, as well as each coach on our staff. This mindset prepared us to be able to bring home Tallahassee 1st Pylon 7v7 Regional Championship in 2020, and through hard work we look forward to bringing many more championships trophies to Tallahassee.
